About Alessandra

Alessandra Miele, IFNCP, FMCHC, NBC-HWC is an Integrative & Functional Health Practitioner and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach who helps women and families understand the why behind their symptoms and take practical steps toward better health.

Having navigated her own journey with hormonal imbalance, nervous system dysregulation, mold exposure, and chronic symptoms, Alessandra has a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause, hormonal and weight challenges, POTS and long COVID symptoms, mold toxicity, heavy metal burden, and other complex health concerns. Her whole-person approach connects the dots between symptoms, nutrition, gut health, environment, and lifestyle, using functional lab insights to help identify underlying imbalances and guide an individualized strategy.

Alessandra’s path into functional health began with her own family and her child’s recovery journey. That experience led to her work supporting families navigating autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and developmental delays through an individualized, root-cause framework. Her approach continues to be influenced by Dr. Sidney Baker and his focus on the body’s natural capacity to heal.

Born in Italy and raised partly in the U.S., Alessandra previously founded and owned a boutique yoga and Pilates studio in downtown Boston. Her background in mind–body practices continues to shape her grounded, practical approach to health and sustainable change.

Alessandra continues her functional medicine training through the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) and Autism Mastery coursework, with applications to both pediatric and adult chronic health concerns. She also serves as a Health Coach for Documenting Hope’s FLIGHT–Autism Study.
